The Lava Stone Basin is extracted from a monolithic block of lava stone, manufactured and finished intricately. The exterior has deep grey color and texture, while the interior is customizable with enameled colors. Glazes can serve to color, decorate and waterproof the stone surface, thus making the stone surfaces highly resistant and almost indestructible when exposed to water and chemicals.

Lava Stone is a natural product and could present itself with slight imperfections that are not homogeneous. The enamelling and decorating of the stone are handmade and the firing process takes place at a temperature of approx. 1000 deg. Celsius. Mild imperfections or shading certify the handmade nature of this product.
This glazed dense lava sample is typical of our product; its finish may vary in tone, pigmentation and crazing from that on our larger slabs, and with finished edge profiles. In certain cases Control Samples, on desired correct thickness, can be agreed at the time of order to secure the desired outcome.
