This small table – a precious and ornamental object – is manufactured into a play of geometry. The circle – drawn in both the drawing of the top and the base – is conceived as a disk and a cylinder, while the interruption between the two semi-cylinders of the base creates a surprising and original piece.
Lava Stone is a natural product and could present itself with slight imperfections that are not homogeneous. The enamelling and decorating of the stone are handmade and the firing process takes place at a temperature of approx. 1000 deg. Celsius. Mild imperfections or shading certify the handmade nature of this product.
This glazed dense lava sample is typical of our product; its finish may vary in tone, pigmentation and crazing from that on our larger slabs, and with finished edge profiles. In certain cases Control Samples, on desired correct thickness, can be agreed at the time of order to secure the desired outcome.
