In the Ranieri Lava Stone factory, they have transferred the Vietri hand-painting techniques traditionally applied on terracotta and ceramic tiles and surfaces, to volcanic stone. The result of this is a strong, resistant and versatile glazed lava stone surface with a wide range of applications that are unattainable with ceramic – from tiles to wall claddings, from bar counters to kitchen countertops, as well as durable stone for outdoor environments.
The Compas series of Ranieri Lava Stone is a distinctive new style offered for commercial spaces emitting a calm relief and ultramodern appearance. This set evokes the innovative style of the middle of last century that was brought to life by the Italian designer Gio Ponti. The motifs gives off classical vibes at times, but still showcases harmonious and slender, circular patterns that break and recompose to create always-changing forms of modernity.
