Glass and gold mosaic consisting of square chips 4mm thick, not perfectly right- angled, in sizes 10mm x 10mm, 15mm x 15mm and 20mm x 20mm, with a 24 carat gold foil (thin film of gold) applied, protected by a layer of glass. The chips are mounted on glass fibre mesh to form a sheet of 327mm x 327mm in which the chips are about 0.9, 1.4 and 1.9 mm apart respectively.
